Tell President Obama: Drilling is too dirty and dangerous for Virginia

The Gulf oil spill makes it clear that offshore drilling is a dirty, dangerous business that has no place in Virginia's waters. 

Roughly 210,000 gallons of crude oil is spewing into the Gulf of Mexico every day. Despite this accident, oil companies are still pushing to endanger our beautiful beache

Dear President Obama,

Virginia's coast is home to endangered sea turtles, whales and dolphins. What's more, Virginia's tourism and fishing industries provide more than $2 billion for the local economy.

In light the recent Gulf drilling disaster, I urge you to drop plans to expand drilling in Virginia's waters.

Please ensure that BP takes full responsibility for the spill, from paying in full for the clean-up and compensating suffering coastal residents from all damages.
